Griffin/Champion Photograph Archive : These original (approx 500) photographs have been individually cataloged and archived for safe keeping. A catalog of the photos is available for patrons to browse by subject – schools, railroads, places, buildings, events, churches, cemeteries and surnames – the catalog also lists a brief description of each photograph. A museum staff member can retrieve a specific photo you wish to see; and, the staff member will return it to the archive collection. The catalog also contains information on copyright rules which apply to the collection. A staff volunteer did the collation, but this would not have been possible without the careful and tedious attention to detail given by Carol Griffin and Jerry Champion – two of our most valued volunteers, who serve out of the goodness of their hearts.
